Are you looking for a preschool place for your child in Liverpool City Centre? Based in the Baltic Triangle, we look after small numbers of children in a bright, modern and friendly environment.
The nursery staff has an in-depth appreciation of the individual needs of each baby, toddler, and preschool child. Spaces are now available; we can welcome a small number of new preschoolers aged 3-5 to our family.
Welcoming New Children to Preschool
Up to thirteen children can attend our preschool. Aged three to five, they are looked after by a qualified teacher.
Currently, we have vacancies in our preschool. Parents and carers seeking a nursery place for your preschool child, please visit us as soon as possible.
Every week the theme of the entire room changes, and recent examples include ‘Planets and Space’ and ‘All About Me.’ These themes deliver the national curriculum, giving your child a solid foundation for learning before starting school.
Bailey The Therapy Dog
Alongside the curriculum, we also have Bailey, our therapy dog. Subject to parents’ consent, he can play a significant role in your child’s development. Bailey has special training. He provides affection, comfort, and support to children. Youngsters facing emotional challenges, learning disabilities, or behavioural problems can benefit immensely from precious time with the Miniature Schnauzer. Further support for any special educational needs is available from our qualified member of staff, who holds Level 3 Special Educational Needs qualification.
Children taking up the new places will also benefit from our outdoor play area and mixing with children from diverse backgrounds – Arabic, Spanish and French are spoken daily by our children! If the first language in your household is not English, this will not faze us.

“We have been open for just over 12 months. The Childcare Academy is one of a small number of nurseries in Liverpool City Centre. Our position in The Baltic Triangle makes drop-off and pick-up easy for anybody working or studying in town.
All nursery places qualify for funding for 15 hours, and some parents can even get 30 hours paid. Parents who have to pay or top up their nursery care will appreciate our competitive fees. Some other nurseries charge up to £200 per month more than our standard rate. I have noticed the difference this makes, particularly to single working parents.
Here we take the indoors outdoors, have probably the most skilled staff in the city, and are presently working on a vegetable garden. We take a progressive and proactive approach to nurturing the children entrusted to our care.’
